Welcome to Shevet Galim San Diego

The Israeli Scouts chapter of San Diego ("Tzofim") is part of the North America chapter of Hanhagat Tzabar, Connecting our children with Israel, its heritage and its culture, while developing the leaders of tomorrow and building a community.

About Shevet Galim

Shevet Galim is San Diego’s Israeli Scouts troop. We offer Jewish and Israeli American children and teens a welcoming place to build friendships, strengthen their connection to Israel, and engage with the Hebrew language and culture through fun, meaningful activities.

Our members build confidence and life skills, with older teens growing into counselors and leaders. The troop serves more than 200 children in grades 3–12 from over 140 families, connecting them with the broader Jewish, Israeli American, and San Diego communities.
Shevet Galim is a member of Friends of Israel Scouts, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
