On February 24th, 2018 we will be holding our annual Fundraiser &  Purim Party – our only fund raising event of the year.

Shevet Galim, San Diego’s Israel scouts troop, is an exceptional program for Jewish youths. We provide a positive social and learning environment where they share a connection to Israel and Hebrew, enjoy fun and formative activities, grow as individuals, engage with the broader Jewish and San Diego communities, develop life and leadership skills and emerge as counselors and leaders. In short, we believe that we are nurturing the future of our Jewish community.

Shevet Galim is a member of the non-profit 501(c)(3) Friends of Israel Scouts, Inc. Our membership includes children ages 7 – 18 (grades 2-12) and our shevet (troop) currently serves 140 families and 200 children.

While our member families pay dues and fees to have their children join our activities and camps, these funds only cover a portion of our costs. Shevet Galim’s volunteer board is committed to enabling all interested families to participate regardless of financial means. We need your assistance to help us bridge the gaps so that we can maintain and continue to develop our programs for the next generation(s).
